Thank you for your question! Atrantil was designed to target small intestine bacterial overgrowth in both methane and hydrogen dominant SIBO. We had 88% efficacy in our original clinical trial on Atrantil alone. In our second clinical trial, the patients had to have tried and failed Xifaxan, Amitiza, Probiotics, and Linzess in order to be a part of the study. In this trial, we had over 80% efficacy with Atrantil alone. When taken correctly, Atrantil is very effective for those who have bloating and abdominal discomfort accompanied by diarrhea, constipation, or both. However, if you wish to combine Atrantil with antibiotics or other natural protocols, it is ok to do so.  We hope this helps to answer your question. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Sincerely,

Support Team
