Atrantil is specifically designed so that the ingredient that acts as an antispasmodic only slows down the small intestine and only enough for the other two ingredients to have a chance to work. The antispasmodic is a minimal amount and is specifically designed to work in the small intestine, so it does not affect the overall motility of the colon. We have done clinical trials and have not seen any effects on the motility of the digestive system.
