Thank you for your question. Atrantil works to get rid of the bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine. The biofilm is a thin film of mucus that houses bacteria and is primarily on the colon. We don’t find it necessary to disrupt the biofilm because it is in the colon and not causing the symptoms resulting from SIBO. We hope this helps to answer your question.
