Atrantil not working

Been taking this for 8 days now and have had no changes what so ever. I'm being treated for possible SIBO secondary to slow transit constipation. Anyone else have the same problem?

3 people have this question

I’ve been taking align for a few years & am wondering if i should stop the align while I’m starting the atrantil? Thx

Is this a probiotic if it 9is I just started on bio cult and The garden of life Priminal  defence Ultra

I suffer from parkinsons disease and my gut is messed up

For people getting sick a d flu like symptoms its killing the unwanted bacteria and tour experiencing die off. Atrantil isn't helping me yet (2 weeks only)
Hi all, I have celiac disease BD follow à very strict diet but not getting better. In fact I am feeling worse. Waiting for tests results but given symptoms there's a 99%chance I ve developed sibo. Wondering if I should try atrantil. Currently in a crisis and it's been over a month of debilitating symptoms

I also experienced the "die off" symptoms when I started.  i'm gong to be talking to my GI about it next visit as a few reviews I've seen on functional medicine and other GI related websites brought up the caution that the the die off symptoms noted on the Atrantil website may really be reactions to the medicine itself.  Given that there are not a lot of independent trials and tests on this, it is hard to say one way or the other.  We'll see what he says.  for now, I've held off on continuing with taking it until I get more feedback.

I have been taking it for only 5 days but I feel sluggish, not hungry, still suffer from constipation.

ache all over, very tired.  Are any or all of these symptoms part of the killing off symptoms??

I stopped taking it yesterday and today I feel so much better.  BUT I still have bloating and gas.

Anyone else have these symptoms.

Can it be taken if you have had your gallbladder removed? And I’m having terrible constipation .. does it help at all.

I just started taking for ibs and possible sibo.  I've been on the low fodmap diet for 3 months now and that has helped a bit, but still get bloated for too often late afternoon and evenings.  Dietician 'I'm working with from University of Michigan says that fodmap can help up to 75% of cases, but that is not fully cured and is more helpful in diarrhea cases and not constipation like I have.

I hope I don't get the die off symptoms that many others have had, but we'll see.  This is only day 2.

I have been taking Atrantil for over 20 days now. It has helped to relieve the bloating and stomach discomfort from SIBO. I am now taking one maintenance tablet a day with meals. Constipation is still an issue. Having to use Miralax daily.

I couldn't tolerate it because of my IC/PBS but have found relief with taking Align daily and also more than anything trying to stick to the low FODMAP diet.

It took about 30 days for it to actually work but it finally did. I still have problems but way less than they were. I'm not only taking a maintenance dose of 2-3 pills per day instead of 3 per meal.
Did you find any relief with anything else? I have a lot of bloating so I am praying this works.. but I feel maybe right now I'm a little more bloated. I have been taking antrantil for 10 days so far.. luckily I haven't had the reaction you have had.. just not sure how much longer to take it to see if it works or not. I know they say up to 30 days but a lot of people say if it worked for them it was within days
Tried Atrantil^
No I tried the afternoon till one more time but again it would bother my left intestine for a whole day I couldn't work like that. So I just have to try and avoid anything with citric acid or oils in it that causes my intestine to burn.... not fun
Did you ever get any relief?
